SERVICES

Your business deserves to be seen the way you see it.

I photograph Upstate businesses and run their social media, so the version of your business people find online looks like the one you actually built.

YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS

You’re not confused about marketing. You’re tired.

You know you should be posting. There’s a folder on your phone from eight months ago. You’ve written three captions this year and deleted two of them. Somebody told you that you need to be doing Reels and honestly you’d rather do payroll.

None of that means you’re bad at this. It means posting is a job, and you already have one.

THREE WAYS TO WORK WITH ME

This isn’t a menu.

One of these is the right starting place for you, and it’s usually obvious inside ten minutes of talking.

Content Creation

I come to you and shoot. You get photographs and video that look like your actual business — your people, your room, your food, your hands — and enough of it to last you two months. You post it.

For you if: you know what to say, you just don’t have anything good to say it with.

Brand Strategy

Ninety minutes together, then three written pages: who you’re for, what you want to be known for, and the five things you should actually be saying. Plain English, with examples.

For you if: you’re posting, but it isn’t landing, and you can’t tell why.

Social Media Management

I shoot it, write it, schedule it, and tell you what happened. You approve and go back to running the place.

For you if: you want it handled.

WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE

Mostly faces, for now.

Headshots are what most people come to me for first, and I think that’s the right place to start — you’re the part of your business nobody else can copy. The room, the food, the hands doing the work usually come on the second shoot, once you’ve seen what having real pictures of yourself does to your feed.

HOW IT WORKS

Four steps, and the first one is free.

01

We talk.

Thirty minutes. No deck, no pitch. You tell me about the business. If I’m not the right person, I’ll say so and tell you who is.

02

I come see it.

I want to stand in the room before I say anything about how to sell what happens in it.

03

We start.

A content day, a clarity session, or a first month — whichever one we landed on. Most people start with the content day.

04

You see it working.

One page a month: what went out, what people did with it, and what we’re doing next.

What it costs

It depends, and I’d rather just tell you.

A portrait session and a year of running three accounts aren’t the same conversation, and I’ve never been good at pretending they are. Tell me what you’re working on and I’ll give you a real number — in the first conversation, not in a proposal three days later.

Most of what I do lands somewhere between a single session and a monthly retainer. There’s no setup fee, nothing renews on its own, and if I think you’re not ready for me yet, I’ll say so.

The call is free and it’s twenty minutes. You’ll leave with at least one thing to fix whether or not you hire me.

THE QUESTIONS PEOPLE ACTUALLY ASK

Before you get in touch.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. Everything is month to month unless you want the season price. A season is ninety days and takes ten percent off. Most people start month to month.

What if I don’t like the photos?

You’ll have seen how I shoot long before you ever pay me. That’s the whole point of The Good Light.

Can I pay you to write about my business?

No. Coverage in The Good Light is free and it isn’t for sale. If I write about you, it’s because I wanted to — which is the only reason it’s worth anything to you.

Why isn’t there one price for social media management?

Because a bakery with one page and a contractor with four aren’t the same job, and pretending they are means one of you overpays. The number depends on how many pages, how often, and whether I’m the one shooting. I’ll quote you on the call, not after. You’ll have the number before you leave the call.

Do you charge extra for stories, or for answering comments and DMs?

No, and I never will. That work is the reason the posts do anything — a page nobody replies on stops getting shown to people. It’s in every level, it always will be, and I’d be doing it whether it was in the contract or not.

Is it cheaper if you shoot for me and run the pages?

Yes. A content day costs less bundled into monthly management than booked on its own, and less again on a 90-day season. I’m already there, I already know your business, and neither of us has to book anything twice.

Do you run ads?

Not right now. If I think you need them, I’ll tell you and point you to someone who does it well.

I’m not in Greenville.

I work the whole Upstate — Anderson, Clemson, Easley, Greer, Spartanburg. More than forty-five minutes out and we’ll add travel.

How fast do I get things?

Content days come back in about a week and clarity sessions in a few days. I don’t sell a rush option, because the work is finished when it’s right and I’d rather give you that than a faster version of something worse. Retainer content is planned a month ahead, so you always know what’s coming.

If you’re on the fence, start with the conversation.

It’s thirty minutes and it costs nothing, and you’ll get off it knowing more about your own business than you did getting on. That’s true whether you hire me or not.

I write about Upstate businesses in The Good Light. That coverage is free, it is never for sale, and hiring me doesn’t get you into it.
